At Loving Pet Services each class is designed to fit your dog’s behavior, specific issues, age, and history. I believe that happy dogs make the best students. Classes are built on positive reinforcement and LIMA principles (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) to give your dog a positive and productive learning environment.
Obedience and good behavior are desirable traits to see in your dog, and an essential part of your furry friend’s happiness. Better behavior means more freedoms, and more freedoms mean more fun for the whole family.

Private one-on-one Classes
Get one-on-one personalized training in the comfort of your home, at your convenience. My private in-home dog training classes use real life situations and stimuli to teach you and your dog functional obedience. We cover all types of training from basic commands to loose leash walking, potty training, crate training, and more.
Help us learn more about your dog and your behavioral goals, and we’ll help you implement a custom program that lets you and your dog live happier lives together, filled with fun, freedom and friendship.
6 Week Packages
Puppy
Training package and home care for new puppy owners or owners who just need a refresher course on raising a new puppy.
- Address puppy issues like biting/chewing, jumping, counter surfing, digging, leash pulling, barking/whining
- Potty Training
- Go over food brands/types, treats, and toys
- Touch feet, brush teeth, play with ears, cut nails, practice vet holds
- Loose leash walking
- Commands: Watch me, Sit, Down, Wait, Leave it, Stay, Here, Come, and Side
Beginner
Ideal for newly adopted dogs or adult dogs who never had any formal training and need a helping paw to get up to scruff.
- Address issues like biting/chewing, jumping, counter surfing, digging, barking
- Go over food brands/types, treats, toys
- Loose Leash Walking
- Continue working on keeping eye contact (watch me) and working with distractions
- Commands: Sit politely for greetings, Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Go to your bed and stay, Wait for your food, Wait by the door, Come when called from a distance, Take it, Drop It
Advanced
This course is ideal for pets who have already completed puppy training and beginner training and are looking for more.
- Work on Heel with a Stop, Sit, Down and Stand
- Distance recalls with distractions
- Wait for food and Wait by the door with distance
- Entering Thresholds/doorways training
- CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Prep
- Commands: Assumed Leave It, Out of sight stays with duration, Left , Right, and Backup

“I love caring for, connecting with and creating everlasting relationships with animals and their owners. I am highly passionate about providing quality care for every pet I meet and I strive to treat all pets as if they were my own.”
Loving Pet Services is owned and operated by experienced pet care professional Philicia Loving. She has devoted her life to the care and love of animals. She is an experienced veterinary technician, dog trainer, and kennel attendant. She possesses knowledge and experience in caring for cats, dogs, rodents, reptiles, fish, hoofstock and even exotic wild cats like lions and tigers
Service Area
I primarily service Buford, Flowery Branch, Suwenee and the surrounding Ares. Training outside of my normal service area will include a travel fee to cover the cost of my visits. I can provide a quote that includes travel fee if you are outside of the normal service area.
